Many of our host organisations have worked with us for more than ten years; clearly they are happy with the contribution of these enthusiastic young people.
The commitment from our host organisations is small in the context of these benefits, and is aimed at ensuring the win-win situation of a beneficial internship experience for the intern, and a valuable contribution to the host organisation.
We ask our host organisation to:
- Provide the resources required by the intern to fulfil their duties (e.g. desk, computer)
- Assign a supervisor who can explain what is required and support the intern in their work (ideal for development of staff managerial skills)
- Cover the cost of a transport pass for the intern for the duration of their internship (approx. €85 per month, optional)
- Complete a brief assessment of the intern’s performance (sometimes, depending on their programme)
We are here to support you in these commitments at all times. For example, we can organise all transport passes and invoice you for the costs if you wish. We also provide ideas and tips for managing interns, and support with the completion of the assessment.
